Review: The air we lacked: the becoming -and not-becoming- of women and the feminization of caregiving

Abstract

This review addresses the issue of the feminization of care from the fiction set out in the book El aire que nos faltó by Magdalena Salazar Preece. The becoming of the woman-mother and the lack of that becoming in the daughter are the problems raised in the text. From the novel, the problem of care is broken down and how it should be part of a feminist agenda.
